Selhurst Park

Selhurst Park is an all-seater stadium covered on all four sides.

Away supporters sit in the corner of the Arthur Wait stand nearest the Holmesdale Road stand, and their entrances are in Park Road at the corner of Holmesdale Road.

Railway Stations : Thornton Heath | Selhurst | Norwood Junction

All are nearly equidistant from the ground, and all are reached by rail from Victoria and/or Clapham Junction. You can also reach Norwood Junction from London Bridge station. In all three cases, follow the match-day crowds to reach the ground, or download the maps from the links above. The stations are about a fifteen minute walk, with Selhurst being marginally the closest of the three.

An additional tip for fans travelling from the north or midlands, is to leave the train or park your car at either Bedford, Luton or St. Albans and take the Thameslink train to East Croydon, where you can change to a train going to any of the three stations near the ground. There's a train from East Croydon every 15 minutes or so.

The Thameslink trains take about one and a half hours, only stopping at Blackfriars, King's Cross and London Bridge before East Croydon. This also cuts the drive around the M25!

One word of warning: Crystal Palace Railway Station is nowhere near the ground!

Thornton Heath

By Road :

M25 Clockwise (East)

Leave the M25 at Junction 4 and take the A21 to Croydon and Bromley. Take the A232 (signposted Croydon), where it joins the A21; which proceeds to Bromley.
Continue on the A232 through Hayes and West Wickham, until the road bears right at a roundabout facing Shirley Park Golf Club (Shirley Road). Follow the road downhill until it bears left to Croydon (Addiscombe Road), but go straight on, (still Shirley Road).

At the T-junction turn right and then left at the traffic lights on to Spring Lane, passing the old Woodside railway station on your left. Follow the road right on to Portland Road and after going uphill under the railway bridge, go straight over at the traffic lights.

(If you turn left here Norwood Junction Station is on your left). At the next set of traffic lights turn left into Whitehorse Lane. Selhurst Park is a few hundred yards along on the left.

M25 Anti-Clockwise (North/South/West)

Bear in mind the Thameslink trains from Bedford, Luton and St Albans (described above), if you want to avoid the M25. Otherwise...
Leave the M25 at Junction 7 and follow the signs for the A23 to Croydon. At Purley bear left on the A23 at it's junction with the A 235 (to Croydon). You will pass roundabouts and junctions with the A232 and A236 as you pass Croydon, after which the A23 bears left at Thornton Heath.

Here you must go straight over, in to Brigstock Road (B266), passing Thornton Heath Station on your left and bearing right on to High Street. At the next mini roundabout, (Whitehorse Road/Grange Road) go left into Whitehorse Lane. The ground is on your right.
